About Swan Home Inspections

My name is Ralph Swan Jr., I am the owner and licensed professional home inspector for Swan Home Inspections. I am a Houston native, and I love my city!

Before starting Swan Home Inspections, I served in the United States Navy for four years on the USS Nimitz (CVN-68). I am very proud of my service and also very thankful for the service of others and the families that support them. During my time on the USS Nimitz, I became a fully-qualified flight deck director. On the flight deck, there is zero room for error. I take this same approach to each and every inspection where there is zero room for non-compliance.

After my service, I decided to go into the home inspection industry based on the lessons and training I received while in the Navy combined with my prior background in construction. I completed my training at Champions School of Real Estate, and received my licensure by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). Additionally, I am certified as a Professional Inspector through Internachi which is a qualification above and beyond Texas state requirements, much like I will provide quality service that goes above and beyond other home inspectors.

I founded Swan Home Inspections with the mission to provide the same level of meticulous adherence to quality assurance and high integrity standards from my service ensuring flight safety to my service ensuring community safety through trustworthy home inspections.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife, Brittany, and our 3 sons, Keegan, Kade, and Krew.
